HOW TO SEND US YOUR UNIT?

You may send the item/s to us via Royal Mail Recorded and Signed For Delivery. 

Sending items to us via Special Delivery :

We use DPD and Royal Mail for all our parts deliveries, and recommend it for sending parts to us.

Special Delivery is a reliable, reputable service that guarantees your part reaches us the next day before 1 pm. Every delivery is fully tracked, signed for on arrival and insured from £500 to £5000. Prices range from £6.99 to £23.50 for items from 1kg to 20kgs
Please send your item to our Garage in Leicester, unless we advise you otherwise. You can find the address on our contact page. Prices are subject to change and may not be the latest on this webpage.

For All Repair Services - you need to send in your old faulty unit to us to get it fixed by us.

Remove the item from the car and post it to us via Recorded Delivery of your choice.

If you do not know how to remove the faulty unit from your car, please check our youtube for the videos on how to do it. If we do not have any informative video there, kindly contact us. 

 

 

HOW TO PACK YOUR UNIT?

Always ensure to wrap your item securely in bubble wrap and place in a strong cardboard box, with a 3”/7.5cm gap all around making sure to protect fragile components from potential damage during transit. We can not be held responsible for any damage that occurs in shipment, so please ensure to package it properly. Please DO NOT use cloths to wrap it. Only bubble wrap or styrofoam packing material or packaging chips.

When you send your item, you need to enclose a completed form Sancars Repair Request form . This will help us to process your order more quickly.

 

 

REPAIR TIME 

Once we have received your item for repair, we will work on it and return it as soon as possible. We aim to send it back to you on the same day of arrival.

You may also buy the repair service and contact us to get an appointment fixed for your item to be repaired in person at our workshop in Leicester.

It's our utmost priority to get your part repaired and in full working condition before shipped out to you. If we come across that you've wrongly diagnosed the information, we will contact and inform you of the situation we encountered and ship the item back to you deducting shipping cost, minimum testing charge and refund back your money. 
 
In cases where extra parts/components are required to fix your unit, we will consult you prior to fixing it as it may or may not involve extra charges depending on the extra component required. Any extra work done on your unit will be mentioned in the return note with your unit or email message out to you.
 
Estimates of repair costs and any diagnostic work entail charges for the customer. These charges will be included in repair quote agreed by customer, confirmed by contract order. If the contracted work increases due to unforeseen circumstances as mentioned in (Full Terms and Conditions link) and the customer wish not to proceed, a minimum charge of £29.99 will be billed to the customer. This charge includes the current UK rate of VAT @ 20% and standard 2 workings delivery charges. If the item within the contract exceeds 2kg, the bill will increase by £12.99 +VAT. Delivery charges can also be decreased if the customer opts for a lower standard of delivery.
 
The minimum Test Fee charge will also be applicable if the product sent cannot be repaired due to a previous tamper by a third party or be damaged beyond repair due to external voltage surges i.e. jump starting and neighbouring part failure or water/fire damage, part being damaged as a result of another defective part in the vehicle, improper use, use in an application for which the part was not intended, or untimely return of core unit (if applicable)..
 
For Instrument Cluster repair service, the LCD display or outer casing screen is not included in the price quoted. 


For Clutch Actuator, the Hydraulic pump is not covered and not included in the price quoted.

We do not work weekends so please allow delivery time to be within 2-3 working days if purchased over the weekend. If you need it more quickly or urgently, contact and let us know. We can make sure your product is repaired and delivered to you sooner.

Once repaired, the component is repaired to the extent that you only need to fit it in without any programming done from your part.  

If you experience difficulty in fitting the part or need extra information on how to do it, please send us an email or call us and we'll take you through the steps to do it.

Any product that has been found damaged in transit should be notified to us within 24 hrs.

 

  

WARRANTY

We are in this business for a long time and it's our priority to offer a warranty on products we've repaired/refurbished/remanufactured. 

We take pride in giving a lifetime warranty on most of our services. Although, some services may have only 24 months warranty.
 
The warranty is given solely to the owner of the vehicle and does not cover the costs of labour and fees for fixing it.
 

 

   

RETURNS 

We want you to be happy with your purchase from us. We aim to offer you best quality at low competitive prices.

Any missing or damaged parcels should be reported to us immediately. We do have a return policy for damaged parcels which should be returned to us within 7 days.

If the item is not damaged and you decide to change your mind or you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply return it within 14 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging together with the invoice to us. Then we will refund all cost excluding the cost of delivery and fees incurred. We accept returns when the product is in original condition and can be resold. We do not accept items that have been altered. Shipping cost is not refunded. Buyers are responsible for all return postage costs.We cannot be held responsible for returned items lost in the post and undelivered. All returned items must be undamaged, complete in all their original packaging, including packing slip and suitable for resale. We'll exchange the product or offer you a full refund. Before returning us the product, you need to notify us via email or letter to our contact address. Failure to do so may incur a fee.

On top of this, we may refuse to accept your returns if it's been damaged in shipment on its way to us. We may offer you a replacement at a cost. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Exclusions: Test Hires and Units fitted to vehicles are excluded from 14 Day Money Back Promise.

 

 

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS 

Important Information For International Buyers/Outside EU: –   

Import duties, taxes and charges are NOT included in the item price of postage cost.These charges are buyer's responsibility.   

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying our repair services.
 
On the form, describe your unit as ‘Electronic car part being sent for warranty or repair’. Please check on the declaration of value for goods being sent to us.

If we end up paying duties or taxes on your car component that was sent for repair to us, we will add up the amount of customs duties and taxes to your total cost. We will notify you of the total cost.
